General
What does Presight cost?
Sending an enquiry, listing a property, browsing listings and registering as a partner are all free. Where we do paid work — for a customer who wants help scoping a project, or for a partner who wants introductions — we agree the arrangement in writing with that person first. Nothing is ever charged to you by surprise.
What happens after I submit a form?
A person reads it — not an automated system. If you gave us an email address you'll get a written summary straight away, and we come back to you on your phone number after that. Property listings are checked by hand before they go live, so there's a short gap between submitting and seeing your listing on the site.
Is my phone number visible to strangers?
No. Landowner phone numbers are never shown publicly on listings. A CPO can only "Request contact" — we then connect both sides directly, so you're never exposed to random cold calls.
Who is behind Presight?
We're a small, India-based team. We're early, and we'd rather say so than pretend otherwise: we're building our network of installers, operators and manufacturers city by city. If we don't yet have a partner near you, we'll tell you that instead of going quiet.
If you want charging installed
I just want a charger at home. Is that too small for you?
No. A single home charger is a perfectly normal enquiry and we'll point you at someone who can fit it. We'll also be upfront if the honest answer is that you only need a licensed electrician rather than anything more elaborate.
I don't know my sanctioned load or whether I have three-phase power. Can I still ask?
Yes — every technical field on the enquiry form is optional, and "don't know" is a completely normal answer. Those details are printed on your electricity bill, but working them out is part of what we help with.
Our housing society is interested but nothing is decided yet. Is it worth enquiring?
Very much so. Society projects take longer because a committee has to agree, which is exactly why the form asks who makes the decision. Knowing that up front means we pace things sensibly instead of chasing you for an answer you can't give yet.
Do you work in my city?
You can send an enquiry from anywhere in India. In the cities where we already have partners we'll introduce you to them directly. Elsewhere we'll still tell you what your project needs and roughly what it costs, and let you know when we have someone close by — your enquiry is also how we decide which city to open next.
For landowners
Will I lose control of my land by listing it?
Not at all. Listing is just visibility — it doesn't create any legal obligation, lease, or agreement. You decide independently whether to move forward with any operator who contacts you, and on what terms.
Do I have to sign anything right away?
No. Listing your property and receiving contact requests involves no paperwork. Any agreement (lease, revenue share, etc.) is something you'd negotiate directly and separately with an interested operator, entirely at your discretion.
Do you verify who's interested in my property?
Every CPO that registers gives us their company details and contact information, which we review before connecting them to you. We're an early-stage platform, so treat this as a serious introduction, not a guarantee — we'd still recommend doing your own due diligence before signing anything.
What if no one requests my listing?
Your listing stays live with no expiry or cost to you. As we onboard more charge point operators, older listings continue to surface in search — there's no downside to listing early.
For operators and suppliers
Can I browse listings before registering?
Yes — the full listings page is open to browse and filter by city, size, road frontage, and power connection, no signup needed. You'll only need to register once you want to request contact for a specific site.
How are landowners and listings verified?
We're early-stage, so verification today is manual: our team reviews each listing's details as it comes in. We're not yet doing on-site verification, so we'd recommend visiting a site and confirming details directly before committing to anything.
How do I actually get in touch with a landowner?
Click "Request contact" on any listing. Our team is notified immediately and connects you with the landowner directly — typically within a day.
Is there any cost to browse or contact landowners?
No. Browsing, filtering, and requesting contact are all free for charge point operators, manufacturers, and investors.
