How an EV charging land deal usually goes, from listing to installation
1. You list your site
You submit your land's details, photos, and what commercial arrangement you're looking for. Your phone number is never shown directly to operators at this stage.
2. We review it
New listings are reviewed before they go live and become visible to operators browsing the marketplace — this keeps the listings CPOs see genuine and complete.
3. An operator requests contact
When a charge point operator finds your listing interesting, they request contact through Presight. We let you know, and from there it's a direct conversation between you and them.
4. You negotiate terms
This is where the specifics get settled: lease vs. revenue share, the amount or rate, the lock-in period, who handles the power connection upgrade if one's needed, and the installation timeline.
5. Site survey and agreement
Most operators will want to visit and survey the site before finalizing anything. Once terms are agreed, get them in writing before any installation work starts.
6. Installation and go-live
The operator installs the charging equipment and connects it, and the site goes live. From here, your agreement's terms (lease payments or revenue share) start applying as agreed.
