What charge point operators look for in a site
Road frontage and visibility
A site directly facing a highway or main road is far more attractive than one tucked inside a colony, simply because drivers need to be able to see and reach it easily while it's charging. If your site isn't road-facing, clear signage and easy access still help your case.
Power connection
Chargers need a meaningful power draw, well beyond typical household or small-shop connections. A site with an existing high-capacity connection, or a transformer nearby, is much easier (and cheaper) for an operator to work with than one that needs a new connection from scratch.
Space and layout
Operators need enough space for a vehicle to park comfortably next to the charger, ideally without blocking other traffic or parking. Corners, forecourts, and dedicated parking bays tend to work better than tight strips of land.
Clear ownership
Operators move faster on sites where the person listing clearly owns the land, holds a long-term lease, or is an authorized agent for the owner. Being upfront about which of these applies to you avoids delays later.
